Page Content:

 

Your page content is the most important component of your website. DLG Results’ CMS automatically optimizes key words for all major search engines using a proprietary algorithm. This makes your content a major component of your businesses’ marketing. The graphics you include in your website, whether just plain images, flash modes, slideshows, or videos will catch the attention of users entering your site and keep them there. 1. Adding a Page Title:

After clicking on the “Page Administration” option under the top-tier navigation menu, you will be directed to a new window that will list every page included on your website. From here you may “Add a New Page” or edit an existing one. This will direct you to the content editing tools where there is the option above the content box to add a page title. Enter your desired title and then click “Save.”

1. Adding a Page Hierarchy: 

The hierarchy of a page is where the page is located in the top-tier navigation menu. After clicking on the “Page Administration” option under the top-tier navigation menu, you will be directed to a new window that will list every page included on your website. From here you may “Add a New Page” or edit an existing one. This will direct you to the content editing tools where there is the option above the content box to create a page hierarchy. Choose where you would like the page located, and then click “Save.”

 

1. Inserting Non-HTML Content:

 

Many people know very little about HTML coding. This is what makes DLG Results’ Content Management System great! You don’t need to be able to write in HTML to add content to your website’s pages. Simply copy and paste from Microsoft Word, straight into the content box when creating a new page or editing an existing one.

 

1. Inserting HTML Content:

 

For technical users or programmers using the DLG Results Content Management System, there is a special button in the content editing tools menu that allows administrative users to add HTML codes right into the content box onto your pages. The CMS will automatically convert the coding to regular text or formatting. Simply click on this button    and a new box will pop up. Add the codes into this box and then click update. When finished, click “Save.”
